Palette Knife Work

This image is before I reworked, and nearly overworked! I used a lot of non brush tools including fingers and palette knives. It was a noisy affair, very physical in that I used both hands, tools, could hear the scratchiness of the canvas, and visually my eyes bounced around as I added new textures. It takes skill to know when to quit and logic to know when to rework a painting. When I rely only on my emotion I inevitably over do a painting and ruin it. Use emotion to begin a piece, but logic to know when to stop.
Trying to work in some art classes. Excited about what you offer.
Sunday is my most relaxed class for getting back into the swing! Welcome anytime, they go through May.
