Redbrick Create and Sip on a FAB Friday

Have fun with beginner painting classes at Redbrick FAB Friday Create and Sip, once a month “paint party” experience with a relaxed pace for learning while you socialize. Special events like St Paddy’s Day theme, Adding Essential Oils for Emotion, and Painting for Pregnancy. All materials provided. You may bring food and beverages.

Understanding color in Fine Art Class

Learn fundamental art principles and develop your own painting style with ongoing personalized practice in Fine Art Painting Class (October-May) for oil or acrylic, Sundays Noon-4. Bring materials or I will provide for small fee.

Integral Painting Creativity Workshop (Jan- April) is a unique class based around the process of art making for developing creative capacity and dissolving blocks. Chelsea uses methods from collaborative art making, witnessing with journaling, conflict resolution exercises, and open studio process to help you contact your inner creative wisdom. You’ll gain confidence, intuition and spontaneity. *Scholarships available for this class.

Scarcity and Abundance#2

Radical Painting (July through October) An out- of- doors group painting experience for the person who loves the impressionism, nature and personalized art instruction without the work. You’ll have fun being guided through a painting of a local scene out of doors in a park or by the lake. The class results in a finished painting but the value is in the experience of learning to be mindful and creative.  Great for visitors to have a memento of Coeur d’ Alene.

This one and a half day workshop introduces the landscape lover to outdoor painting. This process gets you connected to nature through your direct observation. Your color and value sense will improve and you’ll have a new passion for painting.
